Today for Tomorrow: Project-Based Learning for a Global World

Program Summary

The purpose of this course is to immerse administrators and educators of all subject areas in a set of educational experiences designed to help talented students at every level of education develop a constellation of, Critical, Communicative, Creative, and Global skills, dispositions, and deep understandings that together define 21st Century Capacities.  These core capacities, empirically established, assessed, and disseminated internationally by a team of researchers from Columbia University, Teachers College, have been adopted as educational goals by many of the leading secondary schools in the world and are now being used to develop curricula and lessons that enhance and transcend traditional academic disciplines and educate students who are prepared to address and solve the complex multi-disciplinary problems of the new global age.

Participants who complete each course will earn an official certificate of course completion from Columbia University, Teachers College.
